Megan started her volleyball career at Crockett Middle School and continued to play at Irving High school where she also played basketball. After graduation, Megan went to Tarleton State University and played volleyball for the Tex-Anns. While there, Megan received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Studies and a teaching degree. While student teaching at Grapevine High School, Megan coached for Texas Juniors DFW. She has coached club volleyball for TX Juniors DFW/Dallas Synergy for the past 11 years. After graduation, Megan taught speech and coached JV volleyball, and was the varsity assistant in basketball her first year out of college at Colleyville Heritage High School. The next year Megan got hired to teach and coach at Hebron High School, where she has been teaching speech and coaching JV volleyball for the past 8 years. She was the varsity assistant in 2010 when Hebron won the Texas 5A State Volleyball Championships. In 2013, Megan chose to retire as a High School coach and focus on directing and coaching at Dallas Synergy.
Megan has been privileged to be part of the 2006 and 2011 TGCA All-Star volleyball team staff. She has also coached numerous camps and clinics through the years and loves to see young athletes learn the game of volleyball. One of her favorite parts of coaching is to see an “aha” moment happen with an athlete.
Megan completed her Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a specialty in Coaching from Texas Woman’s University in May of 2013.
Megan is married to Mike. Their son Sean was born in March of 2014. They live in Flower Mound.
Mallory (McKee) Meeks
Mallory started her volleyball career at Coppell Middle School East and continued at Coppell High School where she also played varsity softball. In high school Mallory won a softball state championship and was heavily recruited to play college softball. However, upon graduation Mallory went to Southern Arkansas University on a full athletic scholarship to play volleyball. While playing for Southern Arkansas, she set five defensive school records. She was the all time dig leader with 2,297 digs, top dig total for a match with 44 digs, most digs per set for a season at 6.08, and most digs per career at 5.47. Along with setting these school records, she was awarded the Auburn Smith Award for most outstanding female athlete. She made the Academic All Conference Teams and achieved All Conference recognition. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. After the completion of her Bachelor’s degree she was offered a full ride golf scholarship to complete her Master’s degree. She obtained her Master’s in Public Administration. This will be Mallory’s 6th year coaching club volleyball for Dallas Synergy.
Cassie started her volleyball career in the 7th grade playing at her middle school just outside of Houston, TX. Her first year of club volleyball was in the 8th grade where she was able to experience her first trip to the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships. She moved to the DFW area her freshman year where she began playing on the Flower Mound High School Junior Varsity team. That same year was first year (of four) to play for TX Juniors DFW (now Dallas Synergy)! She went on to continue her play at Flower Mound High School as a three year Varsity player (playing Outside), and representing the team as Team Captain her Junior and Senior years. She received several awards at the high school level including two-time first team all district member, two-time FMHS MVP, several 'all-tournament' awards, and she also lead the district in aces her senior year. Cassie chose to attend The University of Oklahoma where she received her degree in Civil Engineering in the fall of 2012. As a Dallas Synergy alumni, she's extremely excited to begin her 4th year as an assistant coach!
Rachel started her volleyball career at Arbor Creek Middle School in 7th grade and continued it at Hebron High School where she played on varsity her sophomore, junior, and senior year as a Right Side Hitter. She received first team all-district honors her junior and senior year and was the senior captain in 2010 helping to win the 5A State Championship. She moved on to play at North Carolina State University as a Right Side Hitter where she served as team captain her junior and senior year. Her team advanced to the NCAA tournament in 2012 for the first time in 27 years and in 2013 she hit her career high of 18 kills, and tied for the second-best total on the team with 238 kills on the season. In 2014, she garnered MVP awards at 3 of the 4 preseason tournaments. Rachel graduated in July of this year with a Sport Management degree and is excited to be a part of the Dallas Synergy family.
Tori started playing volleyball at Arbor Creek Middle School and continued her career at Hebron High School as an Outside Hitter/Middle Blocker. After graduating high school, she played volleyball for four years at Oklahoma Baptist University and played various positions ranging from Middle Blocker, Right Side Hitter, and Defensive Specialist. Her team set a school record for the most wins in a single season, and won three conference championships while going undefeated in conference play in 2011 and 2012. In 2012 her team at OBU competed at the NAIA National Championship, finished in the Elite 8, and received a final ranking of fifth in the nation. Tori majored in Secondary Mathematics Education and is currently teaching Geometry and coaching Volleyball and Track at Independence High School in Frisco. This is her second year with Dallas Synergy.
Chassie Hamilton grew up in Allen, TX and started her volleyball career at the age of 12. She has played for Summit, Skyline, and North Dallas Juniors as well as lettered at Allen High School. She went on to Oklahoma Baptist University on a volleyball scholarship and played Outside and Right side. There she was an all conference selection all 4 years as well as freshmen of the year of the conference. She graduated college in 2012 and moved back to the DFW area. She head coached in college for 14 Metro at Oklahoma Charge and this is her first year coaching at Dallas Synergy.
Monica started her volleyball career at Coppell Middle School East and went on to play for Coppell High School. While at Coppell, she played JV as a freshman and Varsity as a Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. Her Junior and Senior year she was named Defensive Player of the Year and received all district awards as well. After high school, Monica went to the University of North Texas and majored in Interdisciplinary Studies. She graduated with honors in 2006 and began teaching 3rd grade. While in college, Monica began coaching club volleyball. She has 9 years of coaching experience at the 13's and 14's level.
Monica currently teaches Kindergarten for Van Alstyne ISD. She lives in Van Alstyne with her husband Jon and daughters Aubree Mae and Harper. She enjoys reading, being with family, and teaching.
Rachel Hill started her volleyball career at Coppell Middle School East and continued at Coppell High School. She started playing club volleyball for Victory Volleyball Club as a Middle Blocker, and finished her club seasons with Texas Juniors DFW as a Setter/Right Side Hitter. Texas Juniors DFW qualified for Junior Nationals multiple times, and she was voted MVP by her Texas Juniors DFW 16 Gold Team. She helped coach many years of All American Volleyball Clinics at Coppell High School, with girls from 4th grade to high school. This is Rachel’s second year coaching with Dallas Synergy
